Deaths and Widespread Power Outages in Kyiv After Russian Missile and Drone Attacks

Ukrainian authorities announced on Tuesday that several people were killed across different parts of the country and that hundreds of thousands of residents in the capital Kyiv were left without electricity following Russian missile strikes and drone attacks.

Officials said four people were killed in Russian shelling of the eastern regions of Kharkiv and Donetsk. In the Kyiv region, Governor Mykola Kalashnyk reported that a 50-year-old man was killed during a large-scale Russian attack.

Kalashnyk added in a post on Telegram that the strikes caused damage to several buildings, including facilities belonging to two fuel stations, and led to widespread power outages affecting large areas of Kyiv and its surroundings.
