At least eight people, including children, have died and several others were injured after severe flooding and torrential rains struck Yemen as part of the third wave of a low-pressure system.

The heavy rains inundated streets and neighborhoods, causing widespread property damage.

The Early Warning Center confirmed that thunderstorms and flash floods were concentrated in the governorates of Al Mahra, Hadramout, Al Jawf, and Marib, while authorities urged residents to remain cautious and avoid landslide-prone areas.
