Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced on Saturday that Kuwait International Airport was targeted by drone attacks, causing significant damage to its radar system without any reported injuries.

In a statement posted on X, the authority said emergency teams responded immediately to the incident.

It did not specify who was behind the attack or how it affected air traffic operations, though Kuwait has previously reported attacks linked to ongoing regional tensions.

The incident comes days after a similar attack in which drones struck a fuel tank at the airport, triggering a fire but causing no casualties.
