A drone attack targeted the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone on the eastern coast of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, sparking a fire without causing injuries, according to local authorities.

The Fujairah government media office said in a statement on platform X that civil defense teams responded to the incident and are continuing efforts to contain the fire.

The attack comes a day after the same industrial area, located on the Gulf of Oman behind the Strait of Hormuz, was targeted in a similar strike.

According to AFP, the earlier attack prompted the national oil company ADNOC to suspend crude oil shipments from the site.
