Egypt’s National Election Authority announced on Tuesday the annulment of parliamentary election results in 19 districts across seven governorates during the first phase, following the observation of electoral violations.
Speaking at a press conference, the authority’s head, Hazem Badawy, said the violations included election campaigning near polling stations and the failure to provide candidates or their representatives with copies of the counting records, prompting the annulment of the results in these districts.
