Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati announced that Cairo is coordinating with Qatar and the United States to revive a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza.

The initiative aims to stop the fighting, release some Palestinian hostages, and allow unrestricted entry of humanitarian and medical aid.

Abdel Ati also revealed that 15 independent Palestinian figures will temporarily manage Gaza under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority, maintaining the unity of Gaza and the West Bank.
