The Tunisian audience will gather in the coastal city of Monastir from October 16th to 22nd for the upcoming Jasmine Open tournament with a 250-point category, which is considered a significant event in the world of tennis.

The number of participants in the tournament has reached 23 so far, in addition to the players who will qualify from the qualifying stage. The final schedule of the tournament will witness the participation of well-known stars, including the Belgian Elise Mertens, the holder of the first edition’s title and ranked 29th in the world, the Italian Jasmine Paolini (ranked 35th globally), the American Shelby Rogers (ranked 43rd globally), the French star Alizé Cornet, and the Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, ranked 46th globally.

The tournament’s regulations stipulate awarding wildcards to players ranked in the top ten in the world, such as Ons Jabeur, who is awaiting the results of her participation in upcoming tournaments to confirm her participation in the final competitions.
