Russian Evacuation from Gaza: Egypt Receives Over 60 Citizens Amid Numerous Challenges

The Russian Ministry of Emergencies announced today  the initiation of an evacuation operation for its citizens from the Gaza Strip. Over 60 individuals holding Russian passports have successfully crossed into Egypt.
The evacuation process to Egypt is facing escalating challenges, having commenced on November 1st for foreign passport holders and Palestinians in need of urgent medical treatment.
The evacuation witnessed repeated setbacks last week due to shelling that impacted medical convoys, as reported by relief workers.
The ministry affirmed that Russian citizens would be transported to Cairo, where they would receive assistance in completing necessary paperwork.
While the ministry did not disclose the exact number of expected Russian evacuees from Gaza, Russian media indicated that approximately 1000 Russians have expressed their desire to leave the region.
