Both President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and King Abdullah vehemently condemned Israeli efforts to drive out Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank.

The two leaders issued a joint statement at the “Cairo Summit” today, Wednesday. They emphasized the need for the international community to urge Israel to accept an immediate ceasefire and permit necessary aid into the war-torn Gaza Strip.

The statement also highlighted the humanitarian crisis faced by over two million people living under siege in Gaza.
