According to Mohammed AbdulSalam, the military spokesperson for the Houthi Ansarullah, 5 Yemeni armed forces were killed and 6 were injured in the American and British attack on Yemen. According to him, the attack consisted of 73 airstrikes in different places.

The US and UK confirmed the airstrikes in Yemen were to safeguard commercial ships from Houthi attacks.
