An explosion that targeted an Afghan bank claimed the lives of at least 20 individuals

An explosion that targeted a bank branch in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar resulted in at least 20 fatalities and over 30 injuries.

Early investigations indicate that a suicide bomber used an explosive belt to detonate himself during the bank branch attack, an Afghan security officer informed local media.

He said that several died in the hospital and that three others were killed quickly. Approximately thirty people were injured as a result of the suicide attack.
