The Kingdom of Bahrain has commenced sending invitations to Arab leaders and heads of states in preparation for hosting the 33rd Arab Summit on May 16th.
In this context, the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a formal letter today, Monday, from the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, inviting him to attend the annual meeting of the Arab League Summit. This meeting is scheduled to be held in the capital, Manama.
Regarding the expected attendance at the upcoming summit, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Hossam Zaki, confirmed that the number of participating delegations will range between 1000 and 2000 individuals, including media delegations.
