On May 15th and 16th, Russian President Vladimir Putin will be making an official visit to China.

According to Bloomberg, Putin will meet with Xi Jinping to enhance bilateral relations. In October of last year, Putin traveled to China for the New Silk Road Forum, celebrating the tenth anniversary of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

President Putin emphasized the joint goal of Moscow and Beijing to achieve global economic and social progress while respecting cultural diversity and the right to choose development paths.
