Brazil and Japan Forge Green Partnership on Environmental Cooperation.

Brazil and Japan have inked a comprehensive cooperation agreement on carbon removal and a variety of environmental challenges known as the “Green Partnership Initiative.”

This occurred during talks conducted yesterday, Friday, between Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

They also pledged to increase measures to address climate change, including better protection for the Amazon rainforest.

Following the meetings, Japanese Prime Minister Kishida indicated that Japan will contribute to global carbon neutrality.

Lula da Silva urged increasing investment in clean energy firms, underscoring that climate change is a serious concern. It is worth noting that the Japanese Prime Minister is now on a trip to South America.
