Total Media Cast recorded a failed rescue attempt during Brazilian floods.

“Total Media Cast” was at the heart of the event as we traveled to Rio Grande do Sul state in southern Brazil, where the death toll from floods and mudslides triggered by torrential rains has risen to 39, with dozens more still missing (the tally is about to climb).

According to a Total Media Cast video, a helicopter was seen attempting to rescue two people after the area became swamped in water.

However, as shown in the video, what remained of a house’s roof fell while they attempted to survive, leaving them unable to be rescued. Their fate is unknown.

The torrential rains in the region have displaced nearly 24,000 people, many of whom reside in shelters.
