Norway, Spain and Ireland have officially recognised the Palestinian state, in a move that will come into effect on 28 May

Norway’s Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, announced that his country will recognise Palestine as an independent state on 28 May.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that his country will officially recognise a Palestinian state on 28 May

The Prime Minister of Ireland, Simon Harris, said that his country will recognise a Palestinian state
He added that he expects a number of other European countries to join the move in the coming weeks.
