The head of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, today submitted his papers to run in the presidential elections
Mehr News Agency reported that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has registered his name in the list of candidates for the 14th presidential election at the headquarters of the Election Commission of the Ministry of Interior.
The presidential election in Iran, which will be held on 28 June, closes today to choose a new president.
