The Maldives bans Israelis from entering its territory

The Maldives has banned Israelis from entering the Indian Ocean archipelago country, known for its luxury resorts.
The Cabinet decided to change the laws to prevent Israeli passport holders from entering the country and set up a sub-committee to oversee the process, the office of President Mohamed Muizzu said on Sunday.
Muizzu also announced a national fundraising campaign titled ‘Maldivians in solidarity with Palestine’.
In a statement yesterday, the Israeli Foreign Ministry advised its citizens not to travel to the Maldives after its government banned the entry of Israeli passport holders.
