The four-day European elections across the European Union kicked off on Thursday in the Netherlands to select 720 deputies to the European Parliament.
Nearly 400 million people in the EU’s 27 member states will cast their votes over four days.
Voting in Ireland will begin on Friday, followed by Latvia, Malta, and Slovakia on Saturday, the Czech Republic and Italy will vote over two days, and in the rest of the EU,
the elections will take place on Sunday, a day when citizens of Germany and France will be the most prominent voters.
