A rescue ship recovered the bodies of 11 migrants off the coast of Libya on Friday and its teams rescued more than 160 people who were on irregular migration boats near the Libyan coast, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said.
The organisation said its search and rescue vessel, the GeoParents, recovered 146 migrants in two operations and then found 20 others in a separate boat.
Rescue teams were able to recover 11 bodies seen by a surveillance aircraft floating on the sea surface near the Libyan coast.
