On Saturday, 47 million voters in Italy will head to the polling stations to elect their representatives to the European Parliament.
The voting process will continue tomorrow, Sunday.
Italy represents the third power in the European Parliament, with 76 seats out of a total of 720 seats in the European Parliament.
The European Parliament elections are taking place in the 27 member states of the European Union.
