The official spokesperson for the Afghan Taliban government, Zabihullah Mujahid, confirmed to foreign media today, Sunday, that their delegation will participate in the conference scheduled to be held in Doha on June 30th and July 1st under the auspices of the United Nations to discuss issues related to Afghanistan.

Mujahid added that the agenda includes topics such as assisting Afghanistan and providing opportunities for investors, which he described as crucial matters.

The talks initiated by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, in May 2023, appear aimed at enhancing international cooperation with Afghanistan in a stronger, more coordinated, and organized manner, according to UN statements.
