According to reports from Israeli media today, Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the cancellation of the War Cabinet following a request from Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir to join the council.

Channel 12 Israeli reported that Netanyahu will establish a smaller council for sensitive consultations instead of the disbanded War Cabinet, referred to as the Small Kitchen, according to Al Jazeera.

Additionally, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that Netanyahu will form a mini political council comprising the Defense Minister, the Minister of Strategic Affairs, and the National Security Council President.
