Tunisian tennis star ons Jaber announced that she will not participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer, according to a statement she posted on her Facebook page.

In the statement, Jaber said: “After consulting with my medical team regarding my participation in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, we considered that rapid changes in terrain could endanger my knee and jeopardize the rest of my season.

She further emphasized in her remarks that, ranked tenth globally, she has always cherished the opportunity to represent her country in any competition, underscoring the importance of heeding her medical team’s advice to safeguard her health and physical well-being.

The Olympic Games in Paris are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
