Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned Canada’s designation of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.
“The Canadian action will have no effect on the legitimate and deterrent power of the IRGC,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani.

He added that Tehran reserves the right to respond to this list.

Canadian authorities on Wednesday designated the IRGC as a terrorist organisation, calling on its citizens to leave the Islamic Republic of Iran.
