Iran’s parliament today (Sunday) passed a motion calling on the country’s administration to designate the Canadian military as a “terrorist” entity, IRNA reported.
The motion, which was presented at a public session of the parliament in the Iranian capital Tehran, came in response to the Canadian government’s move on Wednesday to declare Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a “terrorist” organisation.
During the session, 250 members of the Iranian parliament signed a statement condemning the Canadian government’s “hostile” move to blacklist the IRGC, according to the agency.
