British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced on Friday his government’s decision to restore funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Speaking in the House of Commons, Lammy said that Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government had decided to resume funding for UNRWA after a seven-month hiatus.
The minister added that his country’s annual £21 million funding for UNRWA would include money for “management reforms” recommended by the United Nations.
