Iran declared three days of mourning on Wednesday following the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

On Wednesday morning, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced the assassination of its political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Hamas said in a statement that the movement’s leader ‘was killed in a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran.
