Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will visit Turkey on 14 and 15 August and deliver a speech at the parliament, the Turkish Presidency Communication Department announced.

This was announced in a post by the head of the Turkish Presidency Communication Department, Fahrettin Altun, on the Xinhua platform on Wednesday.

Altun said in his post: “President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas will visit our country on 14 and 15 August.

Altun added: ‘Mr Abbas will meet our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the first day of his visit and then addresthe General Assembly of Parliament on the second day of his visit.
