Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump have agreed to participate in a televised debate on 10 September, ABC confirmed on Thursday 8 August 2024.

Trump had suggested during a press conference in Florida that rival Harris hold three debates next month, and Harris responded on Thursday, saying, “I have learned that Donald Trump has finally committed to a debate with me on September 10th.” And
“I look forward to it,” she added, without commenting on the dates of the other two debates.
Trump has not revealed the specific terms of the debates, such as whether there will be an audience.
The other two debates, on 4 and 25 September, have yet to be confirmed.
