More than 100 Palestinians were martyred and dozens of others were injured on Saturday morning in a new massacre committed by the Israeli army by directly bombing displaced people while they were performing dawn prayers in Al-Daraj school in Al-Daraj neighbourhood in central Gaza City.
“The Israeli occupation army committed a massacre inside Al-Ta’min school in Gaza City, killing more than 100 martyrs and injuring dozens of others,” the government’s media office in Gaza said.
The office added in a statement that “this bombing clearly comes within the framework of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people”.
“The occupation army directly bombed the displaced people while they were performing dawn prayers, which rapidly increased the number of martyrs,” it said.
