Los Angeles receives torch for 2028 Olympic Games

At the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games on Sunday evening, Paris handed over the torch to Los Angeles to begin preparations for the 2028 Olympic Games.

Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris 2024 Organising Committee, expressed his complete satisfaction with the Games, which exceeded all expectations.
In 2028, Los Angeles will become the third city to host the Summer Olympic Games, after the British capital of London and Paris, France.
The Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games will be held from 14 to 30 July.

Los Angeles gave a first glimpse of its Games with a 15-minute show during the closing ceremony of the Paris Games last night at the Stade de France, featuring Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
