Farouk Kaddoumi, a member of the Fatah Central Committee and former member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), died on Thursday at the age of 93.
Born in 1931 in Jinsafut, Qalqilya, Farouk Rafiq al-Asad Kaddoumi ‘Abu al-Latif’ was a Palestinian politician who served as head of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Secretary of the Fatah movement, and one of the most prominent opponents of the Oslo Accords.
