The Israeli army launched a military operation at dawn on Wednesday in Jenin and Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.

Since last night, Israeli forces have launched a large-scale assault on the West Bank governorates, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 9 citizens, dozens of bullet and suffocation injuries, arrests and extensive destruction of infrastructure.

Israeli forces imposed a siege on the cities of Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm, preventing ambulances from reaching the injured in the targeted areas.

With the martyrdom of the nine citizens in Jenin and Tubas, the number of martyrs in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, has risen to 660 since 7 October.
