Negotiators from Egypt, Qatar, the United States and Israel will meet in Doha today for talks ‘at the technical and working group level’ on a ceasefire in Gaza, Reuters quoted an informed source as saying on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, a US official told AFP that talks on a ceasefire and prisoner release in Gaza, which began days ago in Cairo, would continue in Doha.

The months-long talks have failed to reach an agreement to end the devastating war in Gaza or release the remaining prisoners captured by Hamas in its 7 October offensive.
