Israeli forces have withdrawn from areas of Gaza’s eastern part of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah after a 22-day military assault, leaving destruction in their wake. At least nine bodies have been recovered by the Palestinian Civil Defence there so far.
The Israeli army claimed that it killed Hamas commander in Jenin Wissam Hazem. The occupation army added that Hazem was responsible for carrying out and directing shooting operations and detonating explosive devices, in addition to other operations in the West Bank.
The Israeli army continues its military operations in the West Bank, which warns of the possibility of the operation taking an escalating pace, especially with the continued fall of Palestinian martyrs and wounded, the tightening of the noose on hospitals, and the bulldozing of roads.
Israel is basing its military action on the fact that it wants to eliminate any armed manifestations in the West Bank, and accuses Iran of supplying armed factions there with weapons.
