The Ukrainian Air Force said Saturday that its air defenses shot down 24 of 52 drones launched by Russia in attacks on eight regions of Ukraine on Friday night.

He added in a statement on Telegram that 25 Russian drones fell on their own, while three others flew toward Russia and Belarus.

There were no reports of casualties or major damage from the attacks.

Ukraine is using electronic warfare, mobile tracking groups and air defenses to fend off repeated Russian drone and missile attacks.
