Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will visit Turkey on Wednesday to discuss the Israeli war on Gaza, the development of trade relations between the two countries and the steps to be taken in this regard.
Some 20 agreements in the fields of defense, energy, tourism, health, education and culture will be signed during a high-level meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Egyptian counterpart in Ankara.
Sisi’s upcoming visit to Turkey is the first by an Egyptian president after 11 years of estrangement between the two countries.
