Bolivian Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa on Wednesday expressed her country’s strong interest in joining the BRICS group.

Sosa told Sputnik in an interview: “Bolivia has a great interest and strong motivation to be part of BRICS.”
She added that she hopes Bolivia can count on the necessary support to become part of BRICS, noting that “BRICS is building a very important economic alternative.”
Sosa said Bolivian President Luis Arce has accepted an invitation to attend the BRICS summit in the Russian city of Kazan and confirmed his participation in the summit.
