Seven people, including three children, were killed and more than 30 injured in Russian shelling of the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Tuesday night, according to a new toll given by Interior Minister Igor Klimenko.
“The total number is that seven people, including three children, were killed in Lviv,” Klimenko said via Telegram, according to AFP.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned Russian attacks and reiterated his call for his Western allies to increase their military assistance to Ukraine in the area of air defense systems.
