The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that the first phase of the polio immunization campaign in Gaza has been successfully completed, with nearly 200,000 children in the central Gaza Strip receiving their first dose.

The disease is rampant in Gaza, where most of the 2.4 million people have been forced to flee their homes since the beginning of the Zionist aggression.
The immunization campaign aims to vaccinate more than 640,000 children in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been devastated by the 11-month war.
