Algerians abroad continue to vote for a new president, while at home the polls open Saturday for the country’s 24 million voters.

The Independent Electoral Authority (IEA) is overseeing the elections by organizing the electoral lists, polling stations and supervisors.

Algeria’s incumbent President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is running against moderate Islamist Abdelali Hassani Cherif and socialist Youssef Ochich.
