Touni specialized in oil painting, design, and caricature. He was renowned for his prominent contributions to the covers of novels, books, and Arab stories, with his work featured on over 4,000 books. He also designed posters for several Egyptian films and played a significant role in a cultural renaissance that sought to define and solidify Egyptian identity.
Touni began his creative career in the 1950s, collaborating with major publishing houses and Arab press publications, establishing himself as a founding figure in this art form.
