Lebanon’s investigative judge has issued an arrest warrant for former Central Bank of Lebanon governor Riad Salameh after a hearing, judicial sources in Lebanon said on Monday.

This comes after Lebanon’s investigative judge began questioning former central bank governor Riad Salameh in Beirut on Monday, in the first session since he was arrested last week and charged with financial crimes including theft of public funds.
