ICC Prosecutor Requests Urgent Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu, Galant, Sinwar and Deif

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, has requested urgent arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Deif.
Khan noted concerns about the potential interference of these politicians in ongoing investigations amid escalating violence and ongoing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Khan expressed frustration at the court’s delay in issuing arrest warrants in his submitted file.

He urged swift action ahead of Netanyahu’s scheduled speech to the UN General Assembly later this month.
