This morning, Tuesday, Jordanians began casting their votes to elect members of the House of Representatives 2024, as polling stations across the country opened their doors at seven o’clock to receive voters in the first phase of the twentieth parliamentary elections.
The Jordan News Agency reported that the number of eligible voters registered in the final records of the electoral districts exceeded 5 million voters.
The total number of polling and sorting centers, which include 18 electoral districts, is 1,649.
A total of 697 male and female candidates competed for seats on the general list, while 937 male and female candidates competed for seats in local constituencies.
