Four people have been detained in Tunisia for mistakenly raising the Turkish flag on a government building

Tunisian authorities have detained four individuals after a Turkish flag was mistakenly raised on a government building in the capital, local media reported on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, social media users widely shared videos and photos showing the Turkish flag displayed on the building of the National Tunisian Railways Company, which is part of the Ministry of Transport. The posts sarcastically commented on how the mistake could have occurred, given the similarity between the flags of Tunisia and Turkey, according to AFP.
The two flags share similarities in their colors—red and white—as well as the star and crescent, though their designs differ.
On the same day, the company issued an “apology” for the error regarding the Tunisian flag and removed the Turkish flag.
