The Islamic Action Front (IAF) is leading with 32 seats in the preliminary results of the vote count in Jordan’s parliamentary elections held on Tuesday.
Unofficial results of Jordan’s 20th parliamentary elections began to emerge on Wednesday after 32 percent of eligible voters participated in 18 constituencies across the country.
According to preliminary results, IAF candidates won about 18 seats at the party list level after about half a million votes were counted, in addition to the party’s lead of about 14 seats on local lists.

1,623 candidates are running on 197 local and general lists for the 138 seats in the House of Representatives.
