ISIS Claims Responsibility for Attack on Shiite Civilians in Afghanistan, Killing 14

The Islamic State (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for an attack targeting civilians from the Hazara Shiite community in Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 14 people and injuries to 4 others.
The attack occurred on the road linking the provinces of Daykundi and Ghor, as the victims were heading to welcome pilgrims returning from Karbala.
In a related statement, ISIS indicated that its goal was to target the Shiite sect, as its fighters opened fire on the civilians.
