The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the killing of one of its employees by sniper fire in the northern West Bank.

The agency explained in a statement that: “Sufian Jaber Abdul Jawad was shot and killed by a sniper’s bullet while he was on the roof of his house during an Israeli military operation in the early hours of Thursday morning, September 12.”

It added, “Sufian worked as an environmental health worker in the Far’a camp, and he is married with five children.”
